Young Women: Becoming Leaders with Confidence and Faith

The Young Women’s program is designed to help you realize your divine potential as daughters of God. In a world full of distractions and pressures, Young Women provides a foundation of faith, self-worth, and leadership that will guide you in becoming the person God intended you to be. Together, we will explore ways to grow in confidence, develop Christlike attributes, and prepare for the future with faith.

Understanding Your Divine Nature

As young women in the Church, it is essential to understand who you are and whose you are. You are a beloved daughter of Heavenly Parents with divine potential. In Doctrine and Covenants 18:10, we are reminded that “the worth of souls is great in the sight of God.” This understanding should be the basis of all your decisions, guiding you toward making righteous choices that reflect your eternal value.

Becoming Leaders in the Church and World

Young Women provides countless opportunities to develop leadership skills. Whether serving in class presidencies, planning activities, or participating in service projects, you are preparing to become future leaders in your homes, communities, and the Church. As you take on these roles, remember to seek guidance through prayer and scripture study. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.”

In Conclusion

The Young Women’s program is not just a place to make friends; it is a place to prepare for a future full of purpose and faith. As you grow in the gospel, develop your talents, and strengthen your testimony, you will be ready to face the world with confidence and become the leaders God knows you can be.
